This course will expand your knowledge and experience level to greater heights.

Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers.
Although this course is serious, it is often described as the course with the most fun and a great way to build your confidence.
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.

During the course you will cover:
•Self-rescue and diver stress
•AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems
•Dive first aid
•Swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
•Emergency management and equipment
•Panicked diver response
•Underwater problems
•Missing diver procedures
•Surfacing the unconscious diver
•In-water rescue breathing protocols
•Egress (exits) •
•First aid procedures for pressure related accidents

Prerequisites and comments
PADI Junior Rescue Diver course (Aged 12+)
PADI Rescue Diver course (Aged 15+)
Must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
Must hold a first aid certification current within the last 2 years
Number of dives: Two dives
Required Materials: PADI Rescue Diver manual and Logbook
